I’m the founder and CEO of Proday.co, we are a sports and fitness company so my work uniform is often sneakers and workout gear. I love these Stella Mcartney for Adidas shoes, the glitter and red, white and blue theme make them a fun and dressed up version of what I wear in the gym.
Friends joke that my gallery wall look like an Instagram feed come to life. I collect art that inspires me and makes me laugh. I have everything from friend’s photography to prints of famous works by Pollack and Degas to a groovy velvet painting of Our Lady of Guadelupe that I bought on Ebay from Mexico. I love adding things I find on my travels or late night online shopping sprees.
As an overachieving victim of female millennial hive mind, I have the requisite bar cart complete with tasteful plant, quirky drink mixers and pretty glassware. I love mid-century modern design and living in California, a place hugely influenced by the go-go days of 3 martini lunches and Palm Springs house parties, having a retro gold cart makes me feel like I’m Don Draper’s new boss on Mad Men.
I love working out and I stay in shape both for myself and my job as the CEO of a fitness related company. I live close to my gym but sometimes even a block is too far to walk when I’m working against a deadline so I keep workout equipment at my fingertips and get a few reps in while on calls or as a little creativity break while working. My secret to finding affordable gym equipment is to check out stores like Marshall’s and Ross. They usually have yoga mats, foam rollers and light weights for far cheaper than anywhere else.
I sat through 3 weeks of a horribly boring art history class in college before transferring out. The one thing I gained from the teacher was my favorite piece of art – the Winged Nike of Samothrace. Historically, it’s thought to be one of the most important Greek sculptures and celebrates a war victory. Personally, this chick is someone I’d want to have my back and my tiny replica inspires me to get out there and slay whatever’s in my way.
